Jaguar XK 3.8 4.2 Torque Honing Plate

If you are here, you know what these are for. Most serious engine rebuilder will use one of these plate to hone an engine. This plate recreate the stress a block see when the head is torqued down. I have been asked to make a plates for an XK 4.2 L Jaguar engine so I now stock  them.

These plate will fit on all XK engine but is bored to 95mm for a 3.8 / 4.2 liter engine. Please contact me if you want to use it on the smaller displacement engine.

They are CNC machined out of 2″ thick 6061-T6 aluminum. Stainless steel insert are included so it can be used numerous time without damaging the mounting hole. The spacer also give you the proper height so you can use the stock bolt length. 4 spacer have a different length to allow the stock head lift clamp to be used in the torque process. 

It is suitable for bore up to 95MM but they obviously can be used on smaller bore too. I would recommend contacting me if using it on an early 83mm bore as this plate will be way too big. On the other hand bigger bore are available on request. I can also make a plate for any motor!
